Job Description

Seeking a Cloud Reliability Engineer to join the Reliability Engineering team supporting the Customer Experience Platform. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable, highly available cloud solutions that standardize enterprise cloud environments and accelerate development velocity through reusable architectures and services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Contact Center technologies, and Voice Bot platforms, enabling seamless customer engagement experiences while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Standardization & Architecture

  • Design and implement services that standardize cloud environments across the enterprise
  • Build reusable architectures and cloud-native services to improve development velocity for agile teams
  • Ensure applications follow best practices for fault tolerance, observability, scalability, and operational simplicity
  • Develop highly available and resilient cloud solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards

Customer Experience & Contact Center Solutions

  • Design, deploy, and operationalize cloud solutions supporting Contact Center platforms and Voice Bot technologies
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Contact Center and Conversational AI capabilities
  • Enable scalable customer engagement solutions using cloud-native services
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience through automation and intelligent workflows

Cloud Compliance & Optimization

  • Develop tooling and capabilities for cloud compliance, governance, reporting, and cost optimization
  • Implement monitoring, metrics, and operational dashboards
  • Translate business requirements into secure and scalable cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards

DevSecOps & Automation

  • Apply DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies across the software delivery lifecycle
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using CloudFormation and related technologies
  • Automate cloud deployments, operational processes, and infrastructure management
  • Champion CI/CD best practices and programmable infrastructure

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
  • Research emerging cloud technologies and Contact Center innovations
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, CTO, Data Engineering, Claims, and Contact Center Operations teams
  • Influence technical strategy and cloud transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

✅ 4+ years of Software Development, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Data Engineering experience

✅ Strong experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud-native architectures

✅ Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

✅ Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CloudFormation

✅ Experience supporting production workloads in cloud environments

✅ Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and iterative deployment practices

✅ Expertise with Contact Center technologies such as Amazon Connect, Workforce Management, and Customer Experience platforms

✅ Experience with Voice Bots, Conversational AI, and cloud-based customer engagement solutions

✅ Strong understanding of Serverless architectures, Containers, Observability, and CloudTrail

✅ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

✅ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience with large-scale cloud transformation and application modernization initiatives

⭐ Knowledge of cross-account deployment and code promotion strategies

⭐ Experience implementing cloud security best practices, IAM, governance, and compliance frameworks
